Mothers’ day is coming, please tell me, is this a good idea, I sell Avon and my brother gave me this idea... (He said it would work for the men who just don't know what to get... and the men who work too late to go shopping...) make gift baskets... and do a "build your own basket" or a “You pick the price” where you tell me what you want in the basket and I put it together. And charge...

Ex.
Small basket: $1.50 plus the cost of the Avon products.
Medium basket: $2.50 plus the cost of the Avon products.
Large basket: $3.50 plus the cost of the Avon products.

Do you think this would work???

would it work in a small town???

I am opening my own small business. All I really need is the money for the licensing and registration, a laptop computer, a company cell phone, and random office supplies. I don't need a store, I'll be working from my home and at work. Should I try to get a small business loan? I don't have my own home or any property for collateral. Would I be better off if I just save up my money and stear clear of a loan?

i want to sell an item on ebay, it's a small 1 GB petito, about 8 grams heavy, and with the store packaging, its approx. 20cm x 10cm x 4 cm.

i live in Vaughan ontario, so if i wanted to ship it in canada i would use canada post. So:

When i go to ebay to list it, and enter a shipping cost, i dont know what to put, because to calculate a rate on the canadapost web, i need a specific destination zip code, and same for the shipping to u.s.

So what should i put.

Also,, can i ship it in any bow that i find, as long as it haas the shipping label printed from canada post?

Are there size requirements? like a minimum size?

thx and please share anything else that you think is relative.

I am starting a very small business. I have looked online to see if the name I've chosen is taken yet, and it is not. My question is, when I do a fictitious name registration, do I just put the name I want to use, or do I also need to include if it is Inc. or LLC, etc..? For example, If my company is called Little Dog Productions, is that all I list, or do I need to have the legal structure decided 1st, and list it as Little Dog Productions, Inc.??? I have searched everywhere to find this answer and I can't seem to find it anywhere, so hopefully, someone out there can help me!

Hi
I have recently qualified as a therapist offering counselling to people with phobias but am struggling to find a suitable place for having the consultations.
I don't really want to use my home as I cannot guarantee peace and quiet with a young family.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

I'm considering going to Tampa, FL this summer to do door-to-door alarm sales for Platinum Protection. They're promising me $44,000 if I make 100 sells in 4 months. That's about 1 sale per day. How possible is this? How difficult is it to make door-to-door sales? I was a missionary for the LDS church for 2 years and basically went door-to-door and taught people about my religion so that's why I think I can do it. Any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks!

.If an employee discovers a fire in the workplace they should raise the alarm, once the alarm is raised the building should be evacuated. If everyone has to leave the building, who is to use the extinguishers?
If I provide training on the use of extinguishers, am I to say that everyone except the person nearest the fire (and therefore in the greatest danger) should leave the building.

I can see that it would be logical to tackle a small fire with an extinguisher, but that would be contrary to fire drill procedure and place an employee at risk.

This is a real conundrum

Is there such a measure?
I've often thought about trying to do better than my crappy salary by starting my own business, but what are the chances of success? I tend to be a bit of a coaster the office, perhaps having a stake in the business would give me the motivation I need.
Any tips for what you need to do/not do in order to be successful?

Do I have to actually have the merchandise , box, ship or is there a way to just be the middle man?
