I am trying to restart my business and need ideas on how to raise the money for my first order ($200), my credit is poor so asking for a loan or getting a credit card, most likely won't happen. I don't have any family or friends who could loan me that amount at this time. I am willing to throw parties and take orders, but I don't have enough product for demonstrations, and I know that most customers expect to get their merchandise at the time of purchase. Help. I love the company and I am ready to live in abundance.

Hey everyone,

I recently came up with what I believe is a very unique concept for a t-shirt business. I already have a website reserved and have my business name decided on. I'm in the process of taking the next step of having a website designed and having the t-shirts printed, but I want to know what is the best way to protect my boutique shirts from being printed by other companies. Copyright? Trademark? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

Scott

Can you pay an artist a nominal fee to design a t-shirt and register the copyrights under another person's name or (a corporation not owned by the artist).

What legal paper does the artist need to sign to transfer his/her rights to another company or person.

My point is if the artist agrees to design the t-shirt for a certain fee and I pay him/her as agreed for the service, I want to make make sure that he/she does not try to claims fees or royalties down the road.

Thank you in advance for your answer.

As my website hosting business is getting larger I am starting to fear legal issues. I am only 15 and have a large hosting business. Is there any laws that say I have to be a certain age to own one?

Give me as many details as you can as I dont want to do anything that is going to put me at risk legally.

Thanks

I am moving to England and tomorrow is my last day of school. I really wanted some type of business card I could make to give to my friends. However, I have no clue where to go to make them. I just want to make them and then be able to print them out on my printer...because obviously I don't have time to order them.

Please help! I really want to keep in touch with my friends.

I am writing to the local council to propose an idea I have to hold a live event in a potential historically sensitive site, so far all my live events have been in hired venues so I can just concentrate on organisation and marketing that I know, but business propositions aren’t my strong point. I need to convince the council that this event would be in their interests to promote the cultural reputation of the city that the council tries to promote. I have a draft and would be very grateful if someone could look over it for me and form into a good proposition. Thank you very much

Looking to see what's needed in the market these days. Any ideas or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Do you buy online? If not, what are your concerns when it comes to buying online? What products would you buy online and what products would you rather buy in person? Which product would you like to see more online? Is there a product you would like see available online which is currently only available in stores?

Just wondering if anyone out there sells things on ebay to supplement their income (i.e. stay at home mom). If so, where do you get the stuff to sell? Do they send you a W-2 at the end of the year? Any info would be great!

Serious reponses only please.
