This is a one time thing, i don't own a big business or anything, so I can't deduct from taxes... etc. should i just add it into the price per head?

No. It is your responsibility to get to work. That should all be figured into the original price. If you tried to charge me, I would be nervous about you.

Have you ever considered charging a delivery fee for customers more than 10 miles away? You should have one and tell the prospects upfront that the cost of food does not include delivery beyond the 10 mile radius. It is a good businss practice.
The other option would be to ASK where the party will be held when you firt meet with them. You could then build it into the prices.
Personally I would use the first recommendation.

ADD ALL THOSE DETAILS INTO THE OVERALL PRICE OF THE CATERING JOB...
70 MILES AT ABOUT 59 CENTS A MILE WOULD BE
$41.30 PLUS ABOUT $20.00 FOR YOUR TIME RIDING AND
HOW ABOUT OTHERS?

No, you should just log your mileage and you should be able to deduct it at the end of the year when you file your taxes.
