im just wondering what peoples opinions are regarding my idea to start a bike rental business in spain(which has some stunning bike trails for all enthusiasts), renting decent quality mountain bikes, but also offering racing & kids bikes, plus safety gear & car racks for transportation.

also to keep my costs down i would store the bike in my garage & the rentals would take place by delivering the bikes to clients

any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Ok guys…I’m tired of working for other people. I know working for others will never be rewarding because it has built in limits that I simply do not want. I will gladly take the bad and the good of being on my own instead of the so-so area of working for others.

I know not to do the TV ads or fall into the sells of the money making dream for only $19.95. It seems as though the people who are really making money are keeping it a secret. Do you all exist out there?

I tried to start my own business several times but always had to stop because of lack of funds. I’m sure my problem is lack of knowledge of how the game is really played. I just want to really know are there people out there who are making money working for themselves in a real legal small business that started from scratch but never gave up and became successful. It seems like an idea but no hard proof behind this statement. I need examples that this is indeed true.

Any one out there living my dream of being on their

I'm just wondering if anyone who does Ebay or other on-line sales full time actually files an income tax return that includes the eBay income. I ask this because a buddy of mine's brother apparently got audited by the income tax people, and had to hire an expensive accountant to sort everything out. Is it really possible for someone to legitimately run an eBay business - I mean you might be selling stuff that you bought at garage sales, flea markets, etc. where no purchase receipt is involved? Do the tax people have a set of guidelines for eBayer's, etc??? Thanks

I am thinking of starting a home business where I would wrap presents for people that just don't have the time or just plain don't want to do it themselves.
I'd like to know if anyone has suggestions as to how I can go about charging per package/bag/etc.
Please help!

The reason for me to choose this particular topic was due to when I recently wrote a informational essay paper on how to operate a small home-based business so I figure I would stay in that particular area and write a persuasive essay instead. Can you please just give me some concrete pointers? Thanks in advance.

He ordered me not to revisit his outlet stores for the purpose of buying goods to resell. He said if he came back in 1/2 year and I was still doing it "I would be looking for a lot of trouble" Since the legal protection of trademarks disappears when an item is sold, does he have any legal weight behind his threats?
