I have my broker's license and I'm looking to start my own brokerage so I figured a franchise is the way to go. But now I'm trying to determine which one is the best. I have narrowed it down to 3: Number 1 being RE/Max, number 2 being Century 21, and number 3 being Coldwell Banker, but which one is the top one?

I was an agent with ReMax for a while and it's a very high turnover company because of the high expense to its agents. I personally know two brokers in my city who closed their ReMax offices and joined another ReMax office because they both said they made more money as a ReMax Realtor. Apparently ReMax has very high fees for their brokers too. I'm just finishing up the broker course and I'm planning on starting my own company. If you are going to do a franchise though, I would recommend you go with another company, not ReMax.

I hope that helps. Good luck!!!

The only franchise that is a good franchise is one started by you! I am a tax perfessional and the only time a see any franchise owner make money is when they sell it to another sucker. Best to start your own company and save the franchise fee's, royalty fee's and the other hardships that a franchise places on small buisness owners.
