your business card is the least of the issue.
the typical new business person needs to spend lots of time researching the market place, and what is needed in the market, in your area. So my suggestion to you is to create a card that is simple and straight forward, but also to create a small survey, which you use to contact you entire target market, book-keepers, accounting firms, tax return people, small buinsesses, your local chamber of commerce, networking groups like BNI, Rotary, etc. and ask them questions that relate to the needs that they may have in the areas that you can service.
Also research what other book keepers are charging either on a fee for service base or by the hour.
once you have done your homework, create a set of marketing materials that specifically relate to the targets you are planning to go after and answer all the questions you have asked in your survey and the issues that those surveyed, had as their needs.
then be sure to stay in touch will your targets, as in all business, irregardless to which business you are in, lead generation and lead follow up is more important that the actual service you provide.
This is illustrated by one simple question,
If you are the best accountant in the world but have no customers, how much money will you make ????
systemize your prospecting and lead generation, by implementing an automatic lead generation and follow up system
use your computer to do this by building a solid database in either ms outlook or any other contact managment program (pim) and stay in touch with everybody on a predetermined method at least monthly, but in the initial stages of your relationship with your prospects weekly to solidify your relationship with them.
read books by people like levinson (guerilla marketing) gerber (emyth) misner (business by referral). to name a few.
if you have a computer, and are using software like microsoft office, it has a number of templates for business cards in it, so use them, and keep it simple.
the real work is in creating and maintaining great relationships with prospects, clients and opportunities.
in summary, if you find out how you can make a difference and benefit other peoples lives in your field of expertiece, you will know what to offer as a service and it will answer how much to charge for it.

The thing that will pop out on the business card is the name of your business!! Brainstorm ideas for your business name that are unique...but easy to remember and short!! Once you have the name....you are good to go!!
You should charge by the hour. Be competitive with the competition at first....until you establish your awesome reputation. Then....when you have gathered clients implement rate increasese that are gradual over a period of time.
