How much trouble is it to open up a carwash?

My Mom's family owns car washes and I want to go into that business but I want my own. I could get help I needed it but to get on my feet I want to do it myself. What kinds the money, work, and time do you need for it.... Do I need education from my family? Please answer this one!

get a bucket, soup and paper towels, go door to door at local businesses and you can make $$ washing cars while people work, water costs you nothing and all you pay for is the soup and towels....goood luck
