I'm considering going to Tampa, FL this summer to do door-to-door alarm sales for Platinum Protection. They're promising me $44,000 if I make 100 sells in 4 months. That's about 1 sale per day. How possible is this? How difficult is it to make door-to-door sales? I was a missionary for the LDS church for 2 years and basically went door-to-door and taught people about my religion so that's why I think I can do it. Any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks!

I served in Spain as a missionary and got back in 2005, I went out the summer of 2006 with one of the top alarm companies in the US Apx Alarm and I went out and sold 90+ systems and made $32,000 my buddies made about the same and some more for example my friend Jason made $112,000 I know crazy right. So it is possible, but you have to go with the right company, Platinum is known for promising good things, but they like other smaller companies lack trainers and that's something Apx offers which is key to having a great summer. My suggestion to you is to don't take the risk with a smaller company go with the one that you know is going to pay out. I'm going back to sell for Apx because what they promised to me my return missionary friends was brought to pass. Buddy your a member so call my cell and I'll get you in touch with some of the managers for Apx Alarm and they'll help you make more what you expect to make and possibly more. The company is own by Mormons and it's organized very much like the church and the mission, a sure foundation. 321-243-6957 or email me @ davidflorenz@hotmail.com
