Can property be bought cash and put your name in the county record?

I live in LA County and need a place to stay. I have $8 in my savings account. I go back to work in September as a Substitute Teacher and Aide. I get paid once a month. After the bills and food, I have no $ left for rent. Some of my single friends have houses but don't want roommates. I don't have the $500-$600 a month to spare for rent anyway. I have applied for summer and night jobs. No call backs yet. Where can I go live until I get on my feet? What about a women's shelter? What agencies can help? Please let me know.

Long story short, we refinanced our house in November and we are now realizing that we just can't afford our house. Looking over our loan documentation, I realized that the broker listed my income way above what it actually is, so they basically approved us for a loan we can't afford. Is there anything we can do other than sell our house...which will be very difficult to get what we owe on it with the market the way it is.

my pre approval letter is for 500k and im attemptting to buy a house listed for 240 which has been empty for 600 days on a bad street and vacant for 160k if the selling party knows how much im worth why would the seller even consider my low offer . i mean if the buying party ask for a pre approval letter do i have to provide it in order to put a bid in...it almost seem like a catch 22..i feel like my realtor might not even be presenting my offer in order to earn herself more cash by assisting the selling party to drive the price up in the transaction.....Heeeeeelp!!!!!!!

We bought a new home , and have less than 120 days to sell our existing home. Our listing agent was also the selling agent that we bought from.(New home)They accidentally listed our home as a TRIPLEX on the MLS. The realtor just called and I pointed out the error. Realtor apologized and said no calls have came in , we should lower the price.

Your input please, especially realtors.

Do you feel that Realtors should be held accountable in some way for a foreclosure. Sub-prime lenders may be giving out loans too easily, but who is pushing people into homes they might not be able to afford? In Connecticut, buyer's agents and seller's agents both work for commission and are part of the same Realtor organization, they want the home to sell for the highest amount possible. Should they return the commission or pay a fine if the house goes into foreclosure (within a certain time frame after the sale)?

I was recently informed that a person from our home insurance took photos of our property for no reason other than to snoop and I wasn't home at the time. They told me they don't need to tell me when they come or for what reason. We have had insurance with them for 11 years. They interrogated me about this and that. can they do that if you haven't turned in a claim?

if u file a law suit to take someone off the title of a property what are the chances that judge will make u
sell the property and divide the proceeds? I purchase a home with my cousin and her husband two yrs ago neither me or them are on the loan(a friend took out the loan for us). we had agreed that i would pay 65% of the house payments and they would pay 35%. after about a 1 1/2 yrs they decided to stop making the payments and moved out. i was stuck with the house payments so i have been paying them for about 1/2 a yr by myself, i didnt want to loose the house. now i want them off the title but they refuse to sign the deed. im just worried that if i file a law suit against them the judge will make us sell the house and divide the proceeds. even though they havent been paying for it.

I am going to be renting a 898 sq. ft. 2 bedroom apartment in Harrisburg Pa.. and wanted to know the approx. amount I'd have to pay for electric? It includes central air, too. There are only 3 windows and they aren't too old.. We are blanket people, so we would probably keep the temp. at 65 year round.

My friends' landlord placed this in their lease while one was working in a restaurant. My friend no longer works in a restaurant. The landlord has now threatened to evict if they do not pay a lump sum in cash. It seems like shaky legal ground to me. Just looking for some legal opinions. Thanks.
