I am going to be renting a 898 sq. ft. 2 bedroom apartment in Harrisburg Pa.. and wanted to know the approx. amount I'd have to pay for electric? It includes central air, too. There are only 3 windows and they aren't too old.. We are blanket people, so we would probably keep the temp. at 65 year round.

Call the electric company and ask what the bills have been for the last couple months. That's what we did.

It's not possible to say with any accuracy. However you can contact the local utility companies and they'll tell you what the billing and useage rates were for the past year or two. That will give you a reasonable idea what it might cost you however if the other occupant's useage patterns differ significantly from yours that could be pretty inaccurate as well.

Electric furnace or gas ??

I had a gas furnance, same size apt in Michigan...$35 in winter, $75 with central air in summer

If you have an electric furnace, can't help you there.

No one can answer this except you! Everyone will use different amounts of electricity. If you are disciplined, your bill will be low.
