I rent a house to vacationers in Florida and I am considering adding some new amenities. Which of the following do you think renters look for? Bicycles, Kayak or Canoe (we are on the water), Spa (hot tub), King size bed instead of Queen, Outdoor Kitchen, a supply of soap and spices?

We have: DSL wireless, pool, private dock, portable charcoal grill, cable tv in family room and master bedroom, surround, AC, blow dryers in both baths.

Our house went into foreclosure and then sold at sherriff's auction late last year. It sold for a bit more then we owed the banks. We expected to pay off everyone, then receive that money from the sale of the house, and start a new. The house was bought by a real estate investor. A few days after the house sold, we were informed that this real estate investor is suing us because he did not like the condition of the house, claiming that we intentionally vandalized the house. He is suing us for the exact amount that is owed to us after the house sold to repair damages. We did no such thing, we were forced to move in a very short time with no moving company to help. Has anyone been sued like this before?
We feel we have already lost everything.

Identity theft: If somebody stole your identity(such as social security number) and bought a house somewhere, how would you know about it in time before it's too late?

We are college students and we want this house, but we are wary of this. We are in Massachusetts...are there any laws governing this? Is this practice common or not. We are wary about this situation.

I'd like to find out who owns the property next to mine. There was a renter in it who moved out, and I know someone who might be interested in it. I know that its locally owned, but I don't think a property management company is in charge of renting it.

Anyhow, would this information be available at my local county accessors office (or somewhere else {where?})? Any chance I could find it online?

I was told that a house I may be interested in buying is in danger of forclosure and is currently being held by the bank.

I am trying to understand where the forclosure info is coming from as per my realtor. I dont see a bank, unless M.K. Investments is the one holding the lien on the property.

It appears that when you scroll down the PDF that BLAZER CONSUMER DISCOUNT CO WASHINGTON MUTUAL FINANCE were the grantors to M.K. Investments in 2003 for 27,900. Then M.K. Investments held the property somehow at the purcahse price of $1. Then M.K. Investments granted the money to purchase the property to Mr. Goode for 69,900. If I am correct, which I very well might NOT be then M.K. Investments bought the property for 27,900 in 2003/2005, held the loan for 69,900 on the Good family in 2005 and still holds the loan.

Does this sound accurate?

Ok, when Im done with college, Im projecting that I wil earn about 25,000-30,000 a year. Is this enough for a one bedroom house? Or should I stay with an apartment? Is it smart to go for a small house with one income?

I have recently found out that a certain building company has built some faulty homes...mine included. Nothing has been done so far to correct the problems.
