I called and have spoken to 2 realtor. One realtor has showed us 3 houses. But the other realtor is still calling me. Is it wise to stay with one realtor? Or should I be talking to the Realtor's who's name is one the sign in front of the house? Will it make your realitor mad if you go thru a different agent...Just have them all calling me, and dont know anything about purching a home since this will be our 1st home. Its like one is telling me one thing, and the other is sayin "oh no"..you dont have to do this or that...Any help would be appreciated so much...How do you know if you have a good one? Its scary buying a home and not knowing what everything is...thanks for reading, and your advice would really make me feel alot better. just need some input from the other side...the buyer..

I have a condo in New York City. My tenant wants to buy it. I said I would sell it for what I have invested into it. This is a brand new washer and dryer and blinds. Then I realized I also have about 9 months of condo fees, legal fees, closing costs, a 2 month condo fee deposit when I bought the condo. Is it fair to add all of these costs in addition to the W&D and blinds?

our closing date was march 4, 2006. seller of the home sold
the home to us for $93,000. seller is friends with the real estate
and finance party. finance told us our credit scores were good
and we had the loan. when seller got the information on our
payments and everything on his house he raised the price and
said he was selling it to us for $100,000 after we paid apraisal
signed papers, and the house was taken off the market for us.
we were only to come up with $2000 for closing cost.
last seller had been calling us everyday telling us to save
money more money when everything was already worked out.
now last saturday my mom comes to me and tell us that seller
called her and to her that we did not have the house! why didnt
nobody call us and tell us! seller told my mom that friday
she told me saturday morining. my mone never wanted me
to move out anyway, so now we did not get the house.

My boyfriend and I are thinking about buying a condo in CT. We want a 2 bedroom condo but we are afraid that with the condos fees and property taxes we will not be able to afford it. My boyfriend doesn't want to get an apartment because your rent money goes towards nothing. We are young and plan on being together, but people are warning us about making that kind of commitment and the things that could happen. His credit is really good but mine isn't perfect. What is the minimum amount of years you can take out a mortgage? What if we break up, how will that work? Can we afford to buy a condo that is $100,000 or under? Help!!!

I'm self-employed. I love doing what I do, even though I don't make a ton of money, I'm happy doing it. If I had the money I'd live in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Boston, D.C., you know - the "COOL" places.

However, I don't like the cost of living in those places. I could scrape by but I don't want to freak out every time the rent goes up.

So I'm wondering what urban areas of good size are cool and the best bargain. I need a DECENT SIZED place - I've lived in Madison, Wisconsin and it wasn't big enough for me. Also, don't recommend Cleveland, I don't like it.

Summary: What's a cool large place to live that's not a good value for what's available?

My wife and I pay $550.50 a month for rent.Is there a law when the owner of the home charges a family member an extra $200.00 to stay with us.The home is a two bedroom with a lot of room. She found out that my brother draws a SSI check and started charging.I was under the understanding all my life that when you rent that at least one family member can stay with out paying.

I need to sell my house for the maximum amount of profit, so I can get a new house to fulfill my needs. But we have remortgaged twice and are to the hilt. Therefore, I don't want to have to pay estate agents fees. I've heard of House Ladder etc, but do they work? Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks

Working classes are being pushed into private let, with high rental and no feeling of security,up to five years waiting for council homes, and more and more people being placed on caravan parks with familys because of the housing shortage.Landlords seem to buying up more and more houses and making more and more money of low income families and benefits, and probably pushing the house prices further out of reach.

I have been overpaid by 500.00.
I notified the benefit office on the 8th Dec 06 of a change of circumstance, yet I had a letter on the 18th Feb saying that they were only notified on the 6th Feb 07 and I owe them.
I have reciepts to show that I notified them.....how do I appeal when I feel it is their fault for taking 3 months to sort it???

I just recently signed a 24 month rental agreement on a home. Only 1 month after moving in, my husband got hurt and is now unable to work. I dont know what to do!!! Is it really that bad to just walk away? Any suggestions? I definitely will not be able to continue to afford a 1200.00 payment every month on my own.

I have a friend who owns a house and got in way over on her bills. She owes a little less than the house is worth but can't pay. She has been keeping up with payments on the first but the HELOC is behind.
Since there are two houses on the lot my plan is to Quit claim on title, put some money into the second house and rent it out and just pay her mortgages, taxes and insurance and just let her live in the second house for free. When she dies I would take over the whole property.
This is what she wants. Faster the better.
Is this possible? The real estate gurus say to do this but what is the procedure?
Is it better to get on title as the main owner and keep her on title as well and do my above plan? I just don't want to start a new loan cause of the huge jump in mortgage and property tax. This would be much easier.

I mean literally get rid of it, like have it hauled off or demolished, because it's old, ugly, and no one will buy it? If so, please let me know. I know that sounds a little crazy... but as I said in the last question I posted, I really need a "fixer upper" that my husband and I can fix to live in. We're in the West Tennessee area. Thanks....
