Well here in Michigan we have several real estate schools in the surrounding areas, so you can probably search around a online to get some basic information or find a school in your area. I may also be a good idea to visit your local library to do your own research on current real estate practices in general . I believe you can finish the classes in 40 hrs. one week or part-time night classes, so it's not a long course, and well worth it.But I truly think that hands on is the best learning tool in this career choice, although the hard work and dedication could one day make you very well off. Best of luck!

Part time real estate is just not worth it if you ask me. Community colleges and some real estate companies offer the required classes and then they let you know where to take the test.

Look up your local board of Realtor, or call your local department of business regulations.
You could also walk into any RE office and ask to speak with the broker. They could point you in the right direction as well.
Good luck,
