What's the deal with LowerMyBills.com, is it legitimate? How can they offer interest rates so low that you'll get $500,000 for $1,600/month? What's the catch or hidden fees??

Looking at the london map, thamesmead/abbey wood is around SE london and not too far from the financial hub. Still i could not figure out why the house prices are lower than the other places in SE or East london.

What is wrong with that place, in terms of living, real-estate, local amenities,... there might be something that is reflecting in housing market?

This is really a legal question. I need to know what the maximum late fees a vendor can charge for due payment

I am late on HOA fees and they are trying to charge astronomical fees.

Can you tell me which is a better investment. Purchasing a nice 40 foot RV, which could be rented out for weekend trips or buying a summer home and renting it out. Can you give the pros and cons on both. Thank you very much!

A friend's lease ends Oct. 31st, her husband just returned from Iraq and is stationed in Washington where she will be moving. Is the 60-day notice required by her contract if she does not want to renew even enforceable here in TX? If she gives notice of intent to leave now, will she be held responsible for 30 days past next rent due date, or just 30 days past date of notice (per SSCRA)? Thanks in advance!

If I help a landlord find someone to rent his available house, how much of a finders fee would be appropriate? Thanks.

I have heard that if a relative, for example your parents, mutually agree, you can legally buy their house from them for an arbitrary sum e.g. £1 and go through solicitors so it is all legal.

This way when they die you will own their house tax free.

Is this possible or are their other legal implications to consider?

We are refinancing our $82k mortgage with $26 cash out. Home assessed @ $145k. APR deduction from 10.5 -> 8.7

Is Settlement fee of $7,500 too much (adding in broker, lender and title co. and $1000 title insurance fee)? Broker says their fee of $3800 is fair and common in Houston area.

Any comments??? thanks in advance!
