My boyfriend and I lease shop space. We signed a year's lease and have about 7 mos. left. The property manager just notified us that we have to move out in 60 days because they are turning the space into a carwash. Do I have any rights? Is a lease signed just to protect the landlord?

We just moved....to Florida....and my husband's bossman won't give us a price of living raise unless we PROVE how much more it is to live here than in Baton Rouge. We know the difference but have to show it on paper. News articles or real estate reports can help. Whatever you know...tell! Thanks ahead of time.....

Im looking for a flat in london, and my budget means most of what is available is ex-council. iv been to see quite a few, about 20, and the communal areas (entrance and stairwell) all stink of piss. Does anyone know why? Surely people dont actually piss there.

I am a first time buyer and like the idea of the redrow apartments to get the first step on the ladder. Wondered if anyone knows of any other companies like these? Barretts seem quite expensive compared to redrow.

Thank you all in advance

We're a young couple. Currently we are remodelling a home for relatives. But we are interested in flipping houses. We would be handling the remodel. We are simply looking for a silent partner to handle the financial end. If interested, let's talk.

I live in IL and I accepted a job out of state so I will need to break my lease. with all the legal jargon, I cannot understand if it says I will be penalized. It says cannot sublet, so I have no idea! The management is horrible, and it has a high crime rate so I doubt I can find someone to sublet. There is an extended lease, but I did not have to sign it... I only had to sign the normal lease. So I do not understand,... is there a way I can break the lease due to an out of state move?

This is a 10 unit apartment building in L.A. 90034. The people next door are 3 adults & 3 children, ages 2, 6 & 14. They make much noise. Also the father of 1 of the children does not live on the premises but is around daily and parks in our area that is for tenants. These people leave bags of garbage on the balcony until they feel like taking it downstairs and then many times don't even put it in the garbage bin, it gets scattered near the bin. There is one washer & dryer in the building and they do alot of laundry & leave it unattended. No manager & owner doesn't live here or seem to care that much. Please help if you can.

They have not refinanced their existing construction loan into a conventional home loan yet. Can i place a lien on their contruction loan to keep them from getting a conventional home loan until they pay what is due.
