Yes, they tend to build smaller properties per square metre by comparison to older properties. Anyone that tells you Stamp Duty paid or 5% cashback or 'free' carpets are 'FREE' etc is ignorant - these are all built into the asking price. Better to negotiate on the price of the property and get the extras yourself cheaper. A really good website for new-build homes and first-time buyers is www.smartnewhomes.com - they list ALL the developers throughout the country. Good Luck with your new purchase.

Unicoin New Homes PLC seem a pretty decent company. Their prices are competitive, and their construction is really good.
They are a good company to deal with, and the sales director personally deals with each sale. They keep you well informed, and will chase up the sale chain if there is one. Also, in the event of any problems (especially with chains), Unicoin are very helpful.

There is Bett homes, George Wimpey (they are expesnive though), David Wilson Homes, Wain Homes, Persimmon, Charles Church, Bovis Homes, David McClean, Westbury Homes, Haslam Homes. Good luck and make sure you get everything can thrown in I got carpets, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and a dishwasher, so keep haggling!!!

the cheapest on the market is persimons homes not the best barretts i wouldent touch there workman ship is crap in one word being a x builder i been on a lot of site and found the smaller builder build better homes at better prices like roses based in peterborough
