We have pets too: two cats, two gerbils, two hamsters, one parakeet. We will keep the cats and get rid of the rest if we have to. We need to be out of our place by the end of the month. We are pulling in less than a thousand a month. What can we do?

I'm looking for a home, with a budget of around 150,000£. With this money, I think I'll have to settle at an area outside of London. So far, Kent seems to be a reasonable choice.

However, apart from the legal and morgage costs, what concerns me is the travel cost. For example, a yearly ticket from Dartford to London takes about 1400£. And this doesn't include the amount required to travel by tube and bus inside London.

And if you live further from Dartford, then the cost of travelling to London will rise.

Many said that it's cheaper to live far from London. But economically speaking, is it really worthy to buy a home outside of London?

hello, last thursday I was illegally evicted from my apartment. I owed late fees only totalling $1000. I never received a notice from my landlord for court and planned to pay the balance Friday. My mother had pulled up and saw when they first started taking my things out. There was no sheriff there. The apt maintenance crew packed my stuff. Several of my items were taken by them before they started throwing my stuff out. TV's DVD players, DVD's. my daughters dresser with all of her clothes in it. my dinning room table and chairs, my make-up kit and most of my coats and jackets. Also jewelry and all of my business documents (birth certificate, checkbook, rental receipts) are all missing. My neighbor upstairs said she saw one of the maint guys taking my tv out before they started the eviction. I also have a picture of my dining set in maint. storage, they wont return it. The landlord couldnt show me an eviction notice when I went to the office. Do I legally have grounds to sue them?

We tried closing twice before but it was contingent upon him selling his house in Maryland, which eventually got sold on Friday. Would you let someone lease or possess the house before closing? Answers needed please...

i have called six times on some property i want to see and purchase. i sent several emails as per the agent's website instructions, i finally reach her and tell her and she says well i get so many...then why ask that people reach you that way...isn't that what you are in the real estate business for? anyway, she says that she will send me the property details, etc. i get some but not the one's i asked for. of course i will not be buying the property through her....

I am considering moving to San Diego. I have $140,000 to put down on a house. I am terrified that I will not be able to live. I can only pay around $2300 a month including taxes and insurance. I have a family with two young kids, so a small yard and schools are very important. Is there any way this can work out for me? I want this move to be a positive one for my family and I.

Should I consider loan options like a 40 year or an interest only 10 year? I plan to be there for a while.

I am moving out for the first time in the next few months.

I have easily enough money for rent and food with a few hundred pound left over each month. I am just wondering what other bills I need to keep tabs on and a rough idea on how much it will be?

Thanks!

Since we finished paying our mortgage our house deeds are currently held by the building society. We pay nearly £30-00 per year for them to look after the deeds. Would any of you keep them at home, but what happens if they get lost? Thanks for your help.
