i have called six times on some property i want to see and purchase. i sent several emails as per the agent's website instructions, i finally reach her and tell her and she says well i get so many...then why ask that people reach you that way...isn't that what you are in the real estate business for? anyway, she says that she will send me the property details, etc. i get some but not the one's i asked for. of course i will not be buying the property through her....

She should have called you back as her duty to her client. You have every right to be up set. Also you should have your own agent on your side to negotiate for the price on the home. A good agent on your side can help keep other agents on their toes.

We went through the same thing, weeks later they'd get back in touch with us. I think IMO a lot of agents just want the listings, and don't want to do any of the foot work. So they do all these advertisings for their listings and just sit back. Definitly don't do business with them-I even emailed them back and told them, though I'm sure they didn't care.
Just look around for a good agent, there's still a few left somewhere that actually care that you get a decent house.

Because it is extremely rare for someone to buy the house they call on. This agent probably tries to just work with sellers. You aren't worth the agents time. Find your own agent who is willing to work with buyers. Don't look for a house on your own. Find an agent that will sit down with you on the computer and help you search. Their program is much more powerful that the one on the web.

The sized of the agency is irreverent because each agent is an individual company.

If this agent was smart they would refer you to somone for a fee.

Deal with smaller real estate companies instead. It does not matter if they are the listing agent or not. You will get more personalized service and they are less busy usually then those who work in large real estate company offices.

because the housing market is booming and they know that if you dont purchase the home, someone else will. they are all seriously lacking in the customer service department. my advice is get your own agent and go with a large reputable company.

good luck

you answer your own question. you can look, buy this property using different agent and if you like this property do so.

Get a good buyers rep and you will not have to deal with this type of stuff.
