it tells you where sex offenders are in relation to your address, i went on there and found 3 living within a mile of me. My daughter no longer walks to school alone.

Yes, you can view pictures of sexual offenders in your area. the web site is http://www.nsopr.gov/ It's a national registry. Just type in the zip codes you want to search and it gives you details on the crime and a mug shot. It also gives you a home address and work address of the offender if available.

Family watchdog (see URL below) is really good. It will when available, also show pics. You enter data about where you live and it searches for you. Parents now have a fighting chance of knowing where the "neighborhood pervs and deviates" live and work. You can even check the areas of family and friends. Great way for parents who want to alert their kids; going away to college or moving out on their own.

This is a comment regarding the answer above mine -- there's nothing weird about wanting to be able to recognize people who are dangerous. It's all about being aware and protecting yourself.

some dont allow photos to be posted,,,, but others do.
just do a search for offenders in ( your state here)
