i'm thinking of moving to savannah with my girlfriend and her two school aged kids--i'm concerned with the high crime rates--if anyone who lives in that area could advise i would be greatful. i don't really want to live in the city area, i was thinking maybe pooler or richmond hill, or poss the islands. The advantages to staying here is that I don't pay any rent, so I can save about $15,000 a year for retirement. The disadvantage is that she drives me insane. The embarrasing part is that I'm 34.

trying to find these properies I got realized that is almost impossible to do it, I talked with two different realtors and they said they could help but, until nw they haven't called me back so a assume that they couldn't find anything for me, or for them this doesn't mean a great business even if I told them that they will find the homes, I'll buy them and fixed them and then they will sell them. Could somebody would tell me if this is so difficult, or I just have to try to talk with other realtors?

How do I find out who owns the house next to ours?? My landlord, who is being foreclosed used to own the duplex and it is one that was forclosed. I want to know who owns it so I can find out if they are planning on renting it out or not. Who can I call to find out (other than my current landlord)?

This company claims they will buy a house in any condition, anywhere, quickly. It sounds too good to be true. I'd especially be interested in hearing from people in Idaho, where this company is based.

If I closed on a $720,000 property (my new primary residence) with a $140,000 down payment, how soon can I use equity (down payment) towards an investment property. So far ive heard theres a 6 month to a year cap on equity loans, then I heard I can get a line of credit as soon as I close without a problem...anybody have a clear answer? btw my credit score is 680...I've asked before haven't gotten a clear answer. I've also spoken to some mortgage brokers and they have given me conflicting answers.

After trying to sell the house ourselves for 2 months, we finally engaged a realtor. We entered a standard "Exclusive Right to Sell" contract specifying we agree to pay the realtor fee "if sale or exchange of the property is made during the term of the contract." The realtor has had the property for 2 weeks and has not yet had a showing.

When trying to sell the house, we placed an ad that ran in a newspaper outside the area, listing my phone number. We had a call on that ad, showed the property ourselves and believe we have an interested buyer.

Is it fair to ask for a split of the realtor fees? Do we have a right to a split of the management fee?

her rent is only $300-a month for a room i had advertised for $450-but she complained that the $300 one was small so I let her have the better one at the same price-as well as waived $150- sec dep-free first week rent-groceries$40-cable-high speed internet-all utilities-and of course when i see her -my friendly demeanor-we met on myspace-she was flirty-messages-etc-.i had a couple rooms avail-she told me she was with her brother"in a bug infested-dirty dishes-pig sty-that he was nasty to her and her 8 yr old boy and that he stole her things and locked her out -mean wile she was currently "abandoned"at an extended stay apt in what was truly a bad area-so "capt save a ***"to the rescue!!!she moves in -I appearantly "did not look like my online picture" worse ,as I have figured.and now I have roaches literally jumping on my back from her filthy habits[trash] and she is $450 behind in rent!
