How do I go about opening my own beach resort?

i own a decent chunk of land in malapascua island, philippines.. right now it is being cleared of trees, shrubs, etc..

how do i go about starting up a beach resort with huts.. i.e. BORA BORA

how do i go about marketing it internationally?

i have looked up the feedback of what vacationers had to say about the island and they ranked it one of the best places to visit in the philippines... there arent that many resorts there yet.. the island is still in the development phase. and it is accessible via 20min boat ride from the main island of cebu.

Before you even think about developing it, you need to do some market research. How accessible is your island? Who are your competitors? What would be special about your resort, as compared to other resorts?
