Tell me if you notice things like:
carpet
window treatments
fixtures and faucets
lighting, fans etc.
paint
landscaping....and how important these are in making the home appealing to you.

Thanks!

I have a land contract, and my landlord wants to evict me, i have been to court for the eviction already. the judge looked at the contract and he said it was not a very god version of it. I have paid an extra 50.00 a month since 7/2002. and the contract states that if for any reason we fall behind on rent the contract is null and void. i got behind 2 years and 3100.00 and had the opportunity to catch up i did. Wouldn't this make the land contract over? Since then i got behind in the last 2 months. I owe 1550.00 right now. Since i was behind before, shouldn't the extra 50.00 go towards now?

I live in the state of Iowa, I have only receive verbal notice of the sale of the home and that I have to be out. They intend to close on the 1st of August. The landlord showed the home wihtout my knowledge about 3 weeks ago and then accepted the offer and still no notification. I did not know they still had it on the market. When I signed the lease it was listed for sale or for rent. After I moved in on April 1, 2006 my landlord notified me verbally they may be moving from Iowa and would I be interested in buying the home on contract. I informed him could not afford it at this time. Please help me I am totally stressed out about this. I have no family close by to help me move again so soon and my youngest boy just had major surgery 1 week ago and can not get around hardly at all.

I would rather buy a small house and then sell it when I leave, after a year, but I would probably not be able to afford a small house on my salary alone. Could I sell the house at the end of the year with any remaining money owed on the mortgage, or this would not save me any money over renting?

Is there a standard closing cost amount or percentage? Say you had the money to pay the full asking price for these two cases...
Cases:
House $10,000 to $25,000
House $200,000 to $300,000

what would the estimated closing cost be? Do you have to pay taxes and insurance upfront if you pay the house out of pocket?

Commercial property in the state of Maine. My wife And I have signed most of, but jointly not all the documents releated to this commercial real estate purchase & sale agreement. The inspection had been completed and i have agreeded to correct problems cited, however my wife who is out of state has not yet signed this document. We are having second thoughts in a big way and would like to delay or walk away from this deal. We would be willing to reimburse the buyers' for their inspection cost. Please advise. Thanks
