I would like to know if anyone has bought a HUD foreclosure home? What is involved in the process and is it hard getting banks to finance the purchase? Also, has anyone ever bought a foreclosure from the court house(sheriffs sale)? How would I get financing for that when you have to bid on the property? Im new at all this and my first purchase will be for myself to live in. Any info is greatly appreciated.

As far as usage goes, I would be paying for utilities in a 2 bedroom apartment, for a family of two. (Myself and my two year old.) I think our use would be neither excessively high nor low. I understand that there's no way to give me an exact total, but an average or estimation would be much appreciated :)

My brother and his wife rented a house in GA they are under a lease for 1 year. The landlord lost his job and decided he wanted to sale the house b/c he needed the money after 6-7 months through the lease. So he brought them to court b/c they refused to move out until their lease was up. The landlord claimed they were $50.00 behind in rent and wanted them out, the judge asked if he wanted them to pay for this month (july) and he said yes, then he asked if he wanted them out after july and he said no, he would like them out in 7 days. The judge granted the landlords wishes and never gave my bro and sis-inlaw a chance to speak...they even had reciepts proving they have NEVER been behind in rent!!! I thought the whole point in court was to hear both sides of the situation?? Can the landlord really break the lease in false claims just b/c he wants to sell his house b/c he lost his job???

Our HOA is ineffective. Many of us want to pay our dues, but we don't want to put the money in the current leadership's hands. Can we put the money in escrow to avoid liens on our homes?

how do I get back property from someone who's been evicted and I cannot find them and my property is still in the apt. but the management won't return my calls as I have left numerous messages for over two weeks now. The apts. are undergoing new management but there's NEVER anyone in the office. And haven't been able to reach anyone on the phone, just voicemail and no return calls back. I'm moving back to Mn. in a few more days and need my property. Can anyone tell me what I can do to resolve this quickly? Any and all advice is needed! Thank you

I work as a telemarketer for a mortgage company. My main pitch is to offer a 2.25% interest rate and see who is interested. However, this rate is only fixed for 5 years and then the rate rises to whatever rate is out on the market. This is where people start to lose interest. I was wondering if this type of arrangement was worthwhile for the customer or if we are trying to rip them off?

Ok, so I asked before about my parents housing situation. My parents put down a fairly large good faith deposit while were waiting for the rest of the deposit. Anyway, it was refundable for like 20 days, and right after that we got a copy of the home owners association rules. Well the rules say no pets, and my parents have pets. If they back out now, is there any legal way to get there refund back even though the grace period is over?

i was married for 15yrs. raised two great kids nd now that they are grown im being been evicted from the home that i thought was mine forever. my x who left 11yrs ago saying he was gay had promised me i had nothing to worry about. he said this was his place and i could live here as long as i wanted and it would always be our kids home etc. he said he paid taxes and rent but his mom says no on the taxes and not always on the rent. i do think he thought his mom would never want to sell it as we have always lived here and have remodeled it etc. she wants me out by end of the month or she is taking me to court. she is not even allowing us to stay the summer untill my son goes back to college to live in the dorm. she wont accept rent and she wont accept land contract. i have no savings and live on 600.00 a month. does anyone have any suggestions or know of any programs that will help me buy this place? help!
