If you have a home that well is a trailer and you owe 25,000 on it, you need to sell right away since you have bought a home. You sign the papers on the new house in 10 days. If the first house doesn't sell and you walk away from it... will you lose the second house?

I came into some $ via an inheretence recently...and it is enough to pay off my 30 year mortgage at 8.1% completely.....I want to pay myself back this money monthly, and it would only take 15 years to do so.......or should I continue to pay the mortgage and invest this money in the stock market? Which would be the better investment?

I live in southern California and the house prices are insane.

In my city the average home is about $550,000-$650,000

That is for a older home with about 1500 sqaure feet and without a large backyard.

I wanted to buy another home, or sell my home and buy another one, but at these prices I will be paying too much for a loan.

Will the prices go down or level off? Isn't this how the market works? High prices then low?

company will refinance my current home and give me an equity pullout line of credit to cover the down payment on my "new" house is this an okay solution to buying a new home without having to move and rent a home until my new one is finished being built.
My new house will not be done until next year.

I'm 18 and i wanna know how much do you think i'll have to earn a year to afford a house that costs from $500,000-$600,000?

I own a townhouse that is not attached to any other houses.

It has:
a 2 car garage
1650 square feet
3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths
a small backyard that is the size of a huge patio and I wouldn’t really call it a “backyard”
NO front yard since it’s a hill and plants

I will have the mortgage paid off next year. My house was built 20 years ago so its really dated.

My friends have huge fancy homes. Obviously they have huge mortgages too. I am sometimes bummed out since my home is not as nice as theirs.

Do you think if I did a little remodeling I would feel happier with my home? The home owner’s only allows simple remodeling like updating the kitchen, replacing tile, painting, etc.

I was thinking of gutting out the house and replacing everything with updated stuff since my tile, kitchen and everything else looks very 80’s.

Any ideas? I don’t want to be house poor like my friends because I want a newer home, but I want to be happy with what I have.

If I was looking to buy a home in the next couple of years in iowa for $100,000 to $150,000 what do I need to know before I start looking. What would be a good interest rate on a 30 year mortgage right now with excellent credit? How much should I expect to pay for property taxes, home owner insurance, etc. any other advice would be appreciated. i know these rates will change but looking for general answers.

A friend of mine was injured at his rented home the other day. He was riding his bike and as he rode it onto the cement pathway along side his house, to get to his side door where he parks his bike, his bike tire touched the eavestrough and caused him to fly off the bike. He suffered several lacerations to his ear that needed emergency care.
Is this accident just an unfortunate mishap, or is there anything to be said about the eavestrough? He was wondering if the landlord was responsible for that. (And not because he's trying to be a jerk, but because the other 2 eavestroughs on the house are in VERY inconvenient locations where people could get hurt, even walking...).
Anyone with sensible advice?

hello, it's brian who is very interested in the license called realtor.

and i got a few questions before i get started.

please, kindly answer my questions. i would appreciate it.

first, how long would it take to get the license as a very beginner?

i know it's totally up to a person who is taking it, but can you give me

an average that it usually takes??

second, how many subjects do i need to cover??

third, how is the license test composited? (eg, # of subject, multiple or short answer etc.)

it could be different state by state, so if you can give an example with NY state,

i'll be too happy :)

fourth, is the license transferable?? let's say i have the NY's license. then, if i move to

DC then, do i need to go over all the steps agian? or it's just trasferable between states?

fifth, how much would it cost me if i study with your web-prep? from the beg. to the end.

well,, it seems like i asked all my questions.

please, get back to me with the answers. thanks.

have a great day :)

We are moving out of country and dont want to use a real estate agent, cause it would take too long, want to move in a month. And will give us a fair price within what is value in the area.

My land lord wants me to pay an extra deposit on top of my pet deposit because she clams that because I have a dog (who is house broken) that he might pee on the tile floors which would ruin them causing her thousands of dollars in damages. Have you ever heard of any tile that can be destroyed by dog urine or is she just trying to get more cash. I asked her they needed to be cleaned with any special floor clener when i mop she said no. I would think that some cleaning produts would be harsher on her floors then if my dog had an accedent.

California Appraisal study's -

I'm in study presently, & would like to know if internship can be done with anyone licensed with the state. This includes someone already working with a government agency and/or an insurance company. Is it mandatory to intern?

Also, there is a program I recently found out I will need at a cost of $2400. Is there something available at a lesser cost?

Thank you.... Tony
