How do I find out who owns the house next to ours?? My landlord, who is being foreclosed used to own the duplex and it is one that was forclosed. I want to know who owns it so I can find out if they are planning on renting it out or not. Who can I call to find out (other than my current landlord)?

Property ownership is a matter of public record. You could call your local courthouse and ask them where you could begin finding out who owns the property. If I knew what state you lived in, I could help you out more, perhaps, since there are some states that have online public records searches.
