I have been approved for an FHA loan in which I have to bring 3% to the table. The home was appraised $6000 less than what I originally offered. He does not want to come down on his price because he will not be able to pay off his current mortgage, of which he will be about $6000 short after closing costs and fees with price being at the appraised value. He is currently trying to work out a deal with his lender to give him a short sale on the house. Since all of this has transpired, I have increased my credit score to the point that I am able to qualify for more mortgage programs. Should I check with some local companies to get into a better program with less fess than a the broker I used? Im somewhat leery of doing this because I don't want my current l mortgage company to see that I was shopping around if we would close under the current terms. And I don't want any inquiries to hurt my score. I WANT THIS HOUSE. Any suggestions on making this deal work would be appreciated.

That can be used online or in any store.
Sort of like a credit card, but it has a limit, or a gift card that can used anywhere?
If so, where can I purchase one?

I have two credit cards, one with my name as "Daxia Fu" and the other with my name as "Da Xia Fu," both with the same address. When the two credit card companies go to report my credit to Equifax or another company, would both credit histories go on the same file? Or would they go on different files?

I have 16,000 in credit card debt. I cut up all of my cards. I make about 3500 a month and I'm trying to pay them off. I know I don't qualify for one of those assistance programs because they can only negotiate with your credit card company if your payments have rarely been late and mine have, especially this couple of months. I just feel like I'm going to have a panic attack. Is there no way out of this?

We charged a plane ticket to my everyday card. I had made several payments to get it all paid before the due date, but failed to get the last bit in before the date, so they charged the whole month's interest to us. This is a card that we use daily, pay completely off each month and try never to pay interest on. How is the best way to get back to zero? Do I need to scape together the whole new balance and pay it quick or will it make no difference when during this month I pay it? I think this card uses two month averaging so should we put the brakes on using this card for a couple of months and do something else for our everyday charges? I want to use discover, not have them use me!

Will I need a credit card to check into a hotel/motel in the US?
I'm not talking five star hotels. Planning on using mostly Comfort Inns or other similarly priced motels. Will the motel require a credit card when I check in, or do they still accept good old cash?

I'm needing one of those prepaid debit cards for some impromptu travel. Where in the US are these cards sold? What's the best *and* least expensive, in the way of fees and cost fo purchase?

I don't want to use my "real" credit card, as I don't want to leave a paper trail. And my spouse will probably cancel the card as soon as he figures out I'm gone. Ideas? Suggestions?

Dont fool for these's debt collecters they are a scam, they send bills that you dont even owe, they call u asking for your bank details.
Most people i know about this have recieved this letter because they use ebay but some have not.
Beware they are a scam.
As anyone had them bothering them with a bill.

We all need to come together and sort this out.
If we alll make a complant to trading standards or your local police asap then theres more chance they will sort it out because theres more complaints.

Ive heard storys about nans and grandads getting these bills and getting scared and fooling for them due to what they say is legal action.

DONT FOOL FOR THEM LETS SORT IT OUT.

So I just checked myFico Equifax score, and I wasn't surprised to see a score of 608.

So I then started playing around with myFico score stimulator... and it says "If You Pay Down $203.00 of Your Credit Card Balances within 1 month, Your simulated FICO score would be in the following range: 668 - 708".

That's 60 to 100 points!!!! jump for paying off a $200 balance?

Do you guys agree with this stimulator, and it's accuracy? can I quote myFico if this doesn't happen?

Thank you for your time! :)
