I am just so tired of the payment gateway I’m using, after 5 months of working with them, I have never received a payout from them on time, not even once, it’s very annoying.

I stopped my credit card because I did not trust a certain company.

This company was meant to give me a refund, I stopped the card because I thought the company would take more money. The credit card company confirmed that the refund will go back on the stopped card.

The company have now managed to debit the money again on the card, 3 days after it stopped!!

Who is in the wrong?

Let's say my credit score is 580, and the only thing wrong with it is too much "credit utilization", i.e. my total credit limit is 5000 and I am using up 5000 (100%), but all accounts are current and I haven't missed a payment for over two years. If I paid the entire 5000 today, will my credit score be much improved by tomorrow? Next week? Next month? How soon will I see significant changes?

My partner recieved a letter yesterday from a debt collection agency saying he owed £8,136.00! He telephoned them to ask what on earth it was for and he was told it was for a car he got on finance in 2002 (before we met) - he says he has no recollection of this but wastold he needed to call back with all income & exp details! He has asked me to write them a letter which i have. I have asked them to provide a copy of the signed credit agreement and asked for this within 7 days - will they provide him with this or is he even allowed to ask for this? I would just like some advice on what to do (i organise all the finances in our house). It just seems very odd that this is the first letter he has had in 5 years?

Advice please x

p.s. i know that if he is found to be owing this amount it will effect his credit - he has (we both have) a bad history with finances which we are paying off at the minute!

I'm going around in circles but determined to get this fixed and done. I had huge huge health issues which financially messed up my credit. I was going to do bankruptcy and went to a lawyer and he said we should settle and pay him to do it. My family members helped and we decided this sounded best. All was settled and I think the attorney wrangled quite well for us, but now, 3 years later and I'm healthy enough to check things out, my credit report is a mess. Why didn't the attorney tell me to make sure things were updated and help me understand it all. Seems like if I went bankrupt it would all have been cleared in 7 years ?? Any suggestions for quick and efficient long credit report repair ? I need advice. And of course no money after being so ill for so long.

I am only 15 points away on my credit score from getting a home loan and the lender I am working with is doing a plus score for me it should take a week to get the results (he is confident that it will increase far enough to get me qualified) we have found the house of our dreams and are afraid it wont be there in a week so should we put in a offer contingent of being financed or wait ?????????
the lender has given me specific details that entail paying a certain credit card down to a 11 dollar balance and says this alone will increase my score by 20 points this is our first home so we need all the info we can get

I started my credit about 6-7 months ago. and my credit is growing. Can't give you a specific score cause I don't know. I want to buy a 2005-06 Lotus Elise for $33,000. Does anyone think I can get that loan if I put that car up for collateral and like a $5000 down payment? Just wondering cause I don't want to go get a ding against my credit for trying to apply for a loan and get rejected. Thanks to whoever answers.

I am currently in Chapter 13. I filed 10/04. I have a home with approx 100K in equity. I would like to pay my way out of BK at the 36 month mark (approx 16K) , pay off the second mortgage (which was down payment assistance, $7450) and pay off some of my student loans. Which will be better refinancing or HELOC? Will I even qualify for a HELOC while in BK? All responses will be appreciated
