another credit report question, I have been to so many credit report repair sites, and on one, somewhere ????????? they gave me a summary of what was most critical to dispute, as I know they are wrong. Do you have any idea where I can get that, as I have a long list, and only need to dispute the most important. I know they have a couple of revolving accounts that say I'm seriously past due and because of that summary I saw somewhere once, I know I need to take care of these first along with ????????????? If you know, I would really appreciate your help once again. you can email me too if you want

In efforts to prepare myself for purchasing a home in the next year or two, I bit the bullet and ordered FICO scores & credit reports from the three major agencies. I was surprised by how much the FICO number varies, my highest score was 680 and lowest 655...that seems like a pretty drastic difference to me. Any idea why this is? Don't they all use the same formula?

Last year I did the Cascall Loan & paid it off in about 5 months...I thought that I would never have to do it again, but times are rough again. Knowing that my credit is not all that great, I applied again and got denied! I dont want to get ripped off by these online loan companys. So does anyone recommend a company that will give me a loan even with my not-so-good credit? Thanks.

In applying for a mortgage the lender requested that I pay some specific debt. One an installment loan and a few other small ones. I have done that, will my credit score increase? I also have some charged off credit card debt listed but it is also listed with a collection agency. In reviewing my application, are they NOT looking at that and should I contact the ORIGINAL creditor that charged off and negociate the ORIGINAL amount which is considerably lower because interest has accrued with the collection agency. Doing so would that increase my credit score and can I have the debt collection reporting removed if I do contact the original creditor?

Lengthy title but that sums it up. Over two years we got a cell phone from Baha that did not do everything they claimed so we returned it within the designated 24hrs only to be slapped with a $280 bill. Now I dont remember the details because we worked out issues with BC (we did not pay them anything) and now 3-4yrs later I am getting calls again from the collection agency. Frankly, I think it was rude and unprofessional for BC to not call me first. I refuse to call them or deal with this old resolved issue. They call me daily with an automated service. I have amazing credit. Since then I have nothing from BC other than my work cell that drops calls like crazy even outside! BC and Baha has some serious customer service issues. They do not support you in any way. Any advice as to how to deal with this?

I have two credit cards...one has a $500 limit and has only $30 available credit. The other has a $750 limit and has about $200 available credit. I have $100 this month that I want to use to pay either one or both down. Should I pay $50 on each or pay more on one or the other? I'm trying to improve my credit score although its not terrible...Thanks

I'm planning on going to England at the very end of this month, and I'm buying the airline tickets online. Method of payment = Credit Card. Ticket Price = $759.40. My Credit Card limit = $500.00. This seems like a problem with an easy solution, but, honestly, I'm stumped, folk(s). Any suggestions on how to overcome such an obstacle?

I've read that if you have old debts that you are finally able to pay off, you should call / write to the credit card issuer and ask them to remove negative items from your credit report in exchange for having the debt paid off.

Can someone please tell me how exactly I can do this? Would anyone happen to have a sample letter for this purpose?

Does this actually work???

Thanks in advance!

I've heard that after so many years, depending on the state you live in, you can get rid of your debt with out paying anything. Basically i'm trying to find away to get my debt cleared. It's been over 7 years for some of the issues.

I got out of college 2 years ago and have come across 4 credit card accounts. One is in the process of being paid off, and the other three have been "settled in full". Currently, without being reported yet that they are settled in full my credit score is about 632.

How much, if any will my FICO go up? Will I be able to go for a loan on a car with a score under 700? 700 is my goal. I would like to have that as a credit score.

Currently I have a 632 with a judgement im paying off by April and also 3 "settled in full accounts" that had been delinquent for years.

What's next? I have and am obtained copies of all statements released by the collector's for my records. Will I be out of the woods?

I have 3 closed credit card accounts, 1 medical collection and couple miscellaneous collections. Yes, I know. I should have paid my bills, I should have got a 2nd job. I definitely regret this now. I was 19 and had no idea how to manage money. Now I'm 8 years older, a mom and I want to be able to fix my credit.

Do I start paying on the old credit card debt or do I let it go? If I start paying on it, will that start my time over again or does it look better that I DID pay off my old debt. Please help...

So I called GC services and the same guy I talked to and I had a more pleasant conversation. I agreed to pay $25 to promise that I would then pay $500. I got another loan, so I can pay it. He agreed to put me on a payment plan of $50 a month for 6 months, then we'll go from there. Is he being sincere or just trying to screw me again?

He seems like an okay guy, but I dunno if I can trust him to keep his word.
