I did, about two years ago, it was just that I was some pennies overdrawn. I rang up their head office and they refunded the charges. Although I believe they might be a bit tougher now with charges , one main reason being banks bringing their Credit Card charges down, as long as you have a justifiable reason they will refund the charges. If you have trouble getting the charges back, write to Natwest and inform them that you will take the issue to the financial ombudsman and if they dont refund still, write to the Ombudsman. The details of the ombudsman will be found here http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/

Last year...... was fairly easy (others usually aren't so lucky)..... they caved in on the first letter, offering a £196 refund out of the £258 they got out of me in 2005 screwing me with fines for them putting me overdrawn with fines just as I'd put in the money to cover the last one.

I got mine back last year and I did it over the phone. They ought to wear masks, well Dick Turpin did.
