i was subscribed to one of those weekly magazines and payed the first payment for it (you had to pay the total amount within 3 payments) anyways i payed the first one and then i didnt pay the next one. i noticed that the magazines stopped coming and so i thought maybe its over. well a few months later aka now im getting so called collection bills from the magazine for the total amount of the magazine sub. telling me that once i pay my sub will be reinstated.. well i dont want to get them anymore anyways so if i dont pay will this affect my credit? has anyones credit suffered because of this? im thinking if i didnt recieve them anymore its not like i really owe them anything.

We have had a medical bill turned over to a collection agency in which we have a previous collection with. We have been making regular payments every month and suddenly they demanded us to pay more. They asked us to fill out a financial questionaire and then told us to pay more per month. Frankly, we have set aside a hundred dollars a week to feed our family of four and put gas in our cars to get to work which leaves us about 60 a week for food. If we agree to their terms we will have $35 a week to feed our family. Do we have any rights at all?

Upon getting my Dec-Jan Visa Bill this month I noticed a few charges for items I did not charge. Two for 14.95 for Dream Smile, and two for 74.95, for a company called lean.rx.
Called Credit Card company and I have to wait for husband to get home from work late to nite to dispute charges, but they did suspend card. I am a little nervous as I wait. Any suggestions??

I got a new credit card. I enter my banking account information online into their system. I start making payments online through their system. I'm getting "Return Check Fees". I think, "That's odd, I could have sworn I had the money in the bank." I get a second "Return Check Fee" when I KNOW I had money in the bank.

I finally realize out I had mis-entered my banking information! Now, I've got 2 return check fees, 2 late fees and 1 over the limit fee because they never got ANY of my payments. I finally pay the balance off in full but the 2nd Return Check Fee hit after I paid everything off and now I have a balance of $35. I called them and talked to them for 45 minutes but they wouldn't reverse ANY of the fees.

I explained to them the situation and hoped they would act in good faith and reverse just one the fees so I could have a $0 balance and close the account. They NEVER made an effort to check my bank information or contact me nor did I have to enter it twice to confirm

I just got a call from a small claims officer and I've been told that I'm going to small claims. They are willing to settle for 1100. This was my ex's fault but I have to pay for it. How can I come up with $1100 I work, but I pretty much live pay check to pay check.
