Either with a "I'm so sorry" letter or an interview. Or do they make no contact whatsoever? What should be the standard procedures?

I have been sitting in a dead end job because I cannot find something else due to bad credit. But I am seriously vegging out and definately losing my edge because I am bored and NOT Challenged. It pays bills and thats about all. No praise, reviews or raises. Just no room to grow. Need to work, but feel that I have not only ruined my career with the credit thing, I have also wasted my time getting a degree by working at a place that could care less whether I have it or not.

I've heard to try to spin them into a positive. I've also heard to be blunt and honest. What would you suggest?

I had an interview last week. The guy that interviewed me told me to call him with whether I wanted part time or full time. I called him back and told him part time since I go to school as well. He said ok and he agreed and told me he would call me back today. He hasn't called yet and I was wondering if it would seem overeager to give him a call or should I just wait for it?

I'm 14, and it used to be that you could bag groceries @ Kroger if you were 14. (Kroger is a midwestern grocery store) I don't want the "You are still a kid, enjoy life" stuff. I just want to know if i can get a job. Thanks for your help.

I'm thinking of applying for a store management position, but it sounds like you start off as an associate before being promoted to management. Is this true? Anyone who is working/has worked with them please tell me about it!

I am looking for a job where I can work from home making extra money. I don't want to pay someone to work from home. I was thinking about a claims processor or a medical transcriptionist (I have no experience in either, but I know people who do that and have never had experience). If anyone knows of a good place to look where I am NOT paying to sign up for anything please let me know. Thank you.

About how much do adjunct professors make, at an "average" university? (I'm not talking Ivy league or anything). Also, how are they contracted? I am assuming it isn't the same as regular professors and am wondering if it is done by semester or is more flexible, since many adjuncts have other jobs and do this on the side. If anyone does this for a living I would appreciate input...thank you!

As I look toward Aug, when I will return to work after my maternity leave, I wonder how I will have the time and the privacy for pumping two times a day for 20 minutes each pumping session. My schedule is very tight until the later afternoon, when I have a 50 minute planning period following my 30 minute lunch break...I need a 30 minute break in the AM, but I'm worried that I'm asking for too much.

We live a very simple life (no travel, no movies, no eating out, no fancy cars, no fancy furniture, no fancy entertainment system, etc) and we STILL need my small salary, so staying at home isn't possible, unfortunately...I would do almost anything to stay at home if we could make it work financially.

Is it too much to ask for the two 20-30 minute breaks (at the necessary times) to allow me to pump? This is the equiviant of asking for extra breaks....when everyone else has to keep working

Problem is, I haven't heard from them in about a week and a half. In my opinion, my interview went well and I really feel I have something unique and different to offer to the company. Has anyone had similar experience with one these huge internet companies? Also what are their average response times? I really want this job, and no, the company is not Google. Thanks!
