my cousin once had a blind teacher. she had an assistant though to make sure kids werent up to tricks or anything. also knw of a blind receptionist

A lot of the same careers that sighted people have, only with some adaptations to their disability - Braille keyboards, guide animals in the office, and so forth.

The limitation would be careers that involve a lot of driving, like truck drivers, salespeople, etc. since blind folks typically don't drive.

From what I read, blind people can do almost anything a seeing person can.

All kinds; they just may need special accommodations for some. The exceptions would be jobs that specifically require a minimal level of vision, such as military and police work, driving, etc.
