You could most definitely get a job, when and if you are experiencing a hardship at home or something. If at all other measures you could wait a little longer and maybe when your a little more older you could possibly find another job which would pay maybe, let say, more than what Kroger would pay you, if you wish to get paid more and wait.

some places will hire 14 year olds. the problem is that there are so many restrictions placed on the companies by the labor board. and if they are found to be in violation of any of the codes they can be fined up to $10,000 each one. the best thing to do would be call your local Kroger and find out if they would be interested in hiring a 14 year old. good luck

Legally in most states, yes. However, you would have to check your local state laws, and more importantly, Kroger corporate/store policy to determine whether or not you can be employed there.
I think it's great that you are motivated to find a part-time job. You should enjoy life, but that doesn't mean that a part-time job cannot contribute to that enjoyment.
Best of luck!

it depends on the state. some states have laws about underage workers. whether they can work, what kind of jobs they can work and how many hours a day and how late in the day they can work. i use to clerk also and the place i did was Albertsons. because of the hassle of the intricacies of the law they just gave up on hiring younger workers. sucks don't it. best to just ask a front end manager who works there.

I beleive so. But you should look into it. I am als fourteen, and I applied for a job at Dairy Queen, our local library, and a coffee shop for the summer. It's best to apply early. I hope you get the job you want!

They are going to require that you are 16. Only because of child labor laws.
