It's important to do what fits best with your personality. If you are the type of person who loves being around others, shutting yourself away in a cube to work on a computer all day will make you crazy. Conversely, if you're a computer jockey who needs solitude to think and be creative, being around a bunch of folks is liable to make you nuts.

I can do either; most people can, to some degree or another. Still, which would make you happier?
Because, ultimately, no matter how well they pay you, it will be drudgery if you can't stand the working conditions.

Because I was a stay at home mom and going to college I had much independence-for me I'd prefer to work alone.
