This sounds like a good start for someone in a new country it may not be how you want to spend your working life but it gives you the chance to find your feet and look for a better career.

Your own accommodation would cost you a fortune, but the wages they are offering is below minimum wage

You have no stated how many hours that they expect you to work, but I bed the room you are offered will be very basic and there will be rules on bringing people back.......

I would hold out and look around a bit more, van drivers here bet paid about 400 per week for standard 8 hours a day

you have to factor everything involved - you can't find a job ,
they offer you a job that's not paying well but will give you meals and such . what is the average cost of the meal plus what ever else their offering and then it will be much easier to make up your mind. point being you'll have a job # 2 you will not go hungry & # 3 if housing is involved you won't need a place to stay if you do what your told and stay out of trouble . with all of this figured into the pay i would tell you that yes it is definitely worth taking the job.

Take the job, it,s a good start and you can save money and look for other work, if you do not like it. Meals and Accommodation cost a lot , one room would cost you most of your 85pounds the food would cost whats left. The wage is not fantastic but it,s a start. Good Luck, Amigo.

accommodation and free meals are a huge bonus in a job, it means you can save up all your spare money in case you lose your job. Why not take this job if you cant find another you want?!

hotels, particularly rich hotels in London, are well known for not paying employees much money and the money you are being offered is not much. It could, however, lead you to a better job in the future.
