I've heard to try to spin them into a positive. I've also heard to be blunt and honest. What would you suggest?

Try to use a "strong skill" with a spin. For example, if you are always willing to learn/do more, you could say something like,"Well, I have a hard time seeing things left undone. Sometimes others will take advantage of that, and not do their share because they know I will pick up their slack."

Don't lie but put the most positive spin on them you can, and indicate that those are things you are working on improving.

After all, you are trying to sell yourself here (or at least your abilities). You need to "accentuate the positive" so to speak...the company needs to know what you can do for it, not so much what things you do poorly....however, if you claim no weaknesses that won't appear real and that could be a strike against you as they'll assume you are lying or have something (big) to hide.

I've heard that the best way is to pick a weakness that you can work on or be trained to become better at . Such as typing skills, interviewing skills, technical writing, communicating to a crowd, etc. Just make sure they know you're more than willing to work at it and do what is necessary to get the skill up to snuff.

I heard to just mention a non-critical area that you feel you need to brush up on. It's not about finding your weakness exactly, but to see how you answer a question presented before you.

make it positive. Don't be blunt. Lie if you must as they will lie to you.
