Ok heres the WHOLE story. 5 years ago I was fired for stealing something from Home Depot. To this day, I regret it, It was the only thing I have ever stolen in my life. My questions is, ever since then I have been going to school, but now I want to apply for a job but am very nervous about putting down on my application that I was let go due to taking something from the store. So what do you think? Is it on my record? Am I doomed for the rest of my life, to never get hired for a job due to this mistake in my life?

I am a sales professional and am working in an establishment where the management has stated, " I can make you or break you". I have four major issues. (1) I have not received any leads in 4 months when we receive an average of 25 per week. (2) I have not received the seminar I won for exceeding my sales goal in October 2006 (3) My manager denied approval for me to transfer to a more lucrative campaign (4) I believe to be rewarede for merit and not brown nosing
I expressed my views with my manager and it did not go well. In the past four months my sales have declined ( Although I still remain in the top 5 ) and my manager gave me an unrealistic action plan. I had to reach 14 sales by last friday or else I would be fired. I made 4 and was not fired. The manager now makes me feel uneasy and calls my name out in meetings. I have been looking for antoher job but want to resign. The main reason that hold me back -Plan B - cant receive E.I if you quit

overly sensetive!? I 've been working for a Chiropractor for three years now. The doctor started me working from the house when I had my baby seven months ago. From home I still work on the office's insurance claims, etc. Well, the doctor updated his web page and had a section, "Let me introduce you to my staff." and I'M NOT listed!!! I am EXTREMELY hurt and now feel like I don't mean anything to the office. I work my butt off, just from home? Am I being a dork or would you feel as hurt as me too. I've always worked so hard and now I feel like I'm not being acknowledged and feel sort of left out.

Please, no rude answers, I'm really depressed about this.

I'm currently a cashier at a grocery store making around 11 bucks an hour. I work about 20 hours a week mostly on weekends (I'm a college student). This summer I may be getting a paid internship (40 hrs a week) but would like to keep the cashier job so I can work there next school year. I already have pretty much no life, so should I just work every day (internship M-F and cashier Sat and Sun)? I'd make well over 6 grand during the summer (enough for an entire year of school) doing that.

I'm currently majoring in the field of Graphic Design, I love it, and I'm finishing out my first year, so far it's been very easy and I've been on The Dean's List every semester (which is quite a surprise since in high school I was averaging C's and D's). I'm just wondering how hard it will be to find a job once I get out of college. I live in Ohio, if that'll better help with answering I'm not sure.

Also was this a safer career choice over Fashion Design or Interior Design, or does it fall into about the same risk zone?

Right now I'm seeing a Psychologist to work on social problems that I am having but I can't decide if being a veterinary assistant would be right for me or dental assisting. I love helping people but I also love animals.

And does anyone know of any career placement tests on here or tests that tell you what you would be most fitted for?

When i work with certain people, i feel like they dont move and i always make the first move. I feel like they are just watching what i do and that they only react to my actions rather than instigating any of their own. Then they mock me. I feel like i have a life and they are just Energy sponges, sponging off of me! Help! What should i do!
I tried doing what they do, but i get depressed doing that.
