My boyfriend is wanting to get a job working on a fishing boat....ya know, they go out for, like, a week or so at a time or whatever. He heard that they make pretty good money and he loves to fish, so why not do that, right?
I'm having a hardtime finding out info for him on jobs like this. I don't even know where to look or even what these people are called.
Any suggestions?

I am an sales manager that has been sought after by a large organization to run their regional sales department. The first meeting was just to meet me and have them simply "physically" see me and tell me about the company and sorts. There has been additional contact by them to me for a second more "tell us about your goals" interview. Honesty is the best policy is my belief. I had challenges with child support, 6 years ago, initially when I first became divorced which subsequently resulted in my being charged with failure to pay and charged with a F4, felony. I'm going to share this with the interviewing company but was curious as to others opinions as to just how to introduce the subject during the interview? Any intelligent help would be appreciated.

i got an insurance job last yr july, but went to another company by dec as i was convinced. as an agent, you pay for your own expenses for training, transport, etc. i've almost depleted my savings. after leaving my previous, i paid the ex-manager for the fees, and till now i've yet to clinch a single deal, because of the timing of my studies and that my manager's busy. worse still, my leaving the last company means i gave up the continuing income from the previous sales. i really want to give my best, but its always either my manager's timing, or my studies that stops me from giving my best shot. now im peniless, and @ 24, im still depending on my father who's working as a driver. i feel terrible. i couldnt even give what i pledged to my church's fund raising event, and now spending even more than $2 a day means a lot to me. because of my studies, i cant afford the time to work now, i even thought of cyber begging. someone help me out? any ways to earn $ legally given my situation?

This isn't my first time, but I ALWAYS have a hard time telling my current employer that I'm leaving to pursue other opportunities. I usually tell my boss verbally first, then provide a written statement.

My problem is that I feel bad and too "dedicated." I'm also not interested in a counter-offer.

What's the best way to provide notification and what should I say so that I won't offend or leave on bad terms???

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated!
