I feel very qualified to answer your question. I was a workaholic last year. I earned over $60,000 overtime from one of my two jobs after my partner left the company. I made lots of money and had no life. What you need to first do is to identify your goals. I chose to work lots last year to save money and invest in retirement and other accounts. It was not
something I would be able to do for a prolonged time. There are health risks associated with excessive working. All work and no play make Johnnie a dull boy is true. Also
if you are in a relationship, the relationship can suffer.
A workaholic is not available to a relationship and many end in divorce. Have you considered working in a call center.
Several pay over $11/hr and they give you the training.
Do you have children or other responsibilities?
For an excellent comprehensive financial plan that puts you
in control of your finances see www.daveramsey.com or www.crown.org . Another plan is to get Dave's book from the library or inter library loan "The Total Money Makeover"
Financial freedom is 10% knowledge and 90% diligence.
Could you imagine living without a house or rent payment,
no car payment, no credit car payments of any sort. It can happen if you are willing to be disciplined and sacrifice for a
short period of time. Best regards!

Even when young, working that many hours a week may not be to your best long term benefit....UNLESS you are working for yourself.
You now have skills in stripping furniture and housekeeping.
Either one of these jobs can be developed into your own business; especially if you really enjoy either of them.
Which one do you feel the most competent with? Which one can you expand and become more proficient and/pr specialized with? Are your refeences good; any of your clientele willing to write you a reference letter? If so, why not consider starting your own business?
This way you can set your hours so that you have some quality down time to replenish your self; rest, play, educate, whatever. Without the balance of work and pleasure, you will simply be on a race track with no time for personal growth.
I wish you well.

Mate I feel for you!
I was working bloody long hours a while ago and would never ever go back.
I work online from the comfort of my own home here in New Zealand supporting my wife and 3 kids plus pets.
My only regret is that I didn't start it sooner as I had been driving long distance heavy vehicles for over 20 years.
Never home! Now Never Again!!
I wish you the best you poor bugger. You may have to look at a different occupation.

The landscaping business would bring you allot more satisfaction than the other jobs I'm sure. The way that you can gain skills to succeed in life is to be able to look at what you've done and see the progress. The other jobs listed seem to be jobs that don't have that quality about them.
Just think about this.... If you look at what the now can bring the now, you will always do what you have to do to get by. If you look at what the now can bring the future, you will find that you're more careful about what you're doing and tomorrow will be easier.
Putting that into my life, I've learned that even thou I wouldn't have picked the now, it still is showing to give more to the future. And therefore my future looks to be better than my past.

You need to see how this job, or any job fits into your overall career plan/goals. Take some time and think through what you want to do as a career, and pursue that. Don't get sucked into a job you hate, for barely enough pay. Do what you love. Good luck to you!

Work as much as possible when you are young and single! Once you are no longer either of those you will appreciate being financially stable with a nest egg.
