Out of a long term relationship and there are just no available women in my daily life or my hobbies. I hate the bar scene. So thinking back, the most available girls I ever met was when I was driving a pedicab in Waikiki, I was molested nightly and nearly raped a time or two. But I live on the mainland now.

I could make time in my schedule for this project, but what job? Quality is a higher priority than quanitity.

Her boss started the business with just her and together they grew the business to 12 employees and a new office location in just 4 years. She worked countless hours and did whatever it took to get the business going to include Office Manager, interior decorator, purchaser, cleaning staff, furniturer installer and so much more. He used her to better himself without any respect whatsoever for her. She is an excellent worker and has years of experience, but last 6 months of employment became unbearable. He would belittle her in front of the whole office, yell and scream at the top of his lungs and question everything she did. I believe he was trying to force her out of the job. She is findind it hard to look for another job because of bringing up the past and trying to determine what to list on her resume. I thought a previous employeer could just state whether or not you worked there, but I suspect he is slandering her and affect her potential employment. Thanks so much!

Ok, so I have been doing web development since 16 and am currently 20. I've been working the past year at this firm. It's a pretty small company.

I started out as an intern and am still an intern after a year. I worked full time in the summers and during breaks (still in college) and part time while in school.

My problem is that I feel I don't get paid enough. There are other interns here that get paid the same amount I do (15$/Hr) for doing word processing and submitting forms. I've put up with it for the past year but it's starting to get on my nerves.

I've developed over three fully functional websites for them, one being a fully PHP/MySQL site with users, three huge databases and the bells and whistles.

Past like month the pay has been bothering me as I feel I have proven myself so I've been coming in slightly late because I'm just not motivated enough, my bosses just brought that issue up to me about my current lateness (15 minutes). Should I find a new job or ask for a rais

I'll be making $12.50/Hr., which IS quite a bit in Texas for someone my age, plus good benefits, and a free gym membership. Also, after my Internship, ( after 6 months) I'll be making $15.00/Hr.

We are allowed 5 sick days in a year, and when I was being evaluated, my manager had the evaluation papers and the schedule with my sick days and pointed out I was 1 day short of being given a written warning for absences. She says I missed 5 days, I never-ever call in, so I asked her to look at the schedule to tell me what days I called in and the days were not circled off. She proceeded to take her pen and circle them off like I missed them. I feel like I was falsely accused. What do you think I should do?

I'm going to graduate with masters degree in a few months. Recently, I got a job offer. The problem is they offer me salary which is the same like my last drawn salary.

I've stated more in my resume, and the company did informed me tht they cannot pay me the amount I want in the resume. Then, they asked me abt my last drawn salary. A few days later, they called me and will pay the same amount as my last drawn salary. I have 2 years of working experience (but not the same line with this new job).

What do u think. Should I negotiate for more? If yes, how?

I do like what I do but my company pays terrible and treat all there employees horrible. I do not want to go to another catering hall. I feel it will be the same BS somewhere esle.

But when I am looking online or in the paper I just don't know were to begin.

I heard of taking a career appitutde test to gear me in the right direction. But I don't know were these tests are offered.

Please help.

I've got three employees that are driving me mad.

Person1: Possible drug habit, obvious criminal history, and yet huge potential for the business. Been here 4 mos and is now missing tons of time. I've seen him come to work 4 days this month b/c of his personal problems. Yet, when he comes to work-- he gets things done. What should I do?

Person 2: Weighs about 450 lbs and does not take care of himself. His weight causes him to be absent about 7-9 days a month b/c of related illnesses. He is an important role in our business and we don't have anyone else to do his job. His meds cause him to fall asleep while working and he is so slow at work now. What should I do? Been with us for 15 years!

Person 3: Been here for over 20 years and knows the business very well. She can work really hard and knows a lot of trades, but her personal problems are taking up 2 days/week. She is always late to work. What should I do?

Should I make them part-time? Fire? I'm so discouraged.

1. Can you make good money?
2. Do you ever give to panhandlers?
3. Are you more likely to give to a person who looks really down and out or to a person who seems to have it together somewhat ( has showered in the last 3 days, for example).
4. Is panhandling hard work?
5. Is panhandling a sales job?
6. Have you ever been approached by someone who claims to be stranded and needs money for gas or cab fare?

The thesis I wrote for my masters program has picked up some interest by the chair of the education dept at the university I attended. She is asking me to try to get the piece published in a scholarly journal. I would like to do this as I feel it would be a great resume builder, but at the moment I am on maternity leave with my infant daughter. Is this something that I could do comfortably while on leave or is it too consuming a project? I have no idea how to publish a work and would like to know how involved a process this is.

I just quit my job, and got a new job at the local diner.
I have never waitressed before, and I'm totally new to this.
I start training tomorrow, and I'm nervous.

People tell me that since it's a diner, I'm not going to make much money, because since bills at diners are generally around $20, I'll get 2 bucks a table.

I'll take any advice, stories, tips, etc.
I want to be an awesome waitress
