I am hoping very soon to be asked to go back to my previous employer and would like to know if I started working for my current employer the last day in October and I have no contract, how much notice I would have to give. Ideally I would like to to leave as soon as I have a written job offer. The reason for this is that my current job is so awful that I have been job-hunting since the day I started working there.

If you thought that your job was going to close soon. Would you look for another job before it does or wait it out?

I am looking for good paying careers ... that pay $70,000 and up. Are medical jobs the only good paying ones around? I like animals, outdoors, and photography, art, fashion but there is nothing i really can do. I like fashion but i'm not a designer. I want a set job, i don't want to be a photographer and see if i can make a living that way, you know? Does anyone have any advice? In NYC rhat are most of the jobs like there? Corporate people with lots of schooling right? I know i'll have to go to college but, i want something that i have an actual chance doing, i want to pursue something that is within reach for me.

Suppose you're interviewing 4 candidates for the same job position. What they have in common is the same alma mater, same GPA (cumulative and major), and none had internship/co-op experience. Suppose each of them gives you same answers with same attitude, courtesy, and gesture (of course interviewing them at different times where they never even seen each other).

However, here's the only the difference among those 4 candidates:
- candidate #1 is fresh out of undergrad or just got his degree
- candidate #2 is a cop
- candidate #3 is a fireman/paramedic
- candidate #4 is a teacher.

Suppose each of candidate #2-4 had their professions for the same amount of time like a year or two, and they also made significant accomplishments (rescued a celebrity from fire/illness/terrorist, directly/indirectly helped some students get into Ivy Leagues, etc...).

Who would you most likely hire?

I don't really have anything I'm good at or into besides animals, fashions, outdoors, and stuff like that but i can't be a vet or doctor because i don't like the insides of animals and people. I'm really not into designing or anything but, i hope to live in New York with a steady career one day and live quite comfortably. Although i'm not the brightest crayon in the box but, i can't seem to find many options that i like. Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

I have two dress shirts and one dress pants. Also, one pair of dress shoes that I don't like and no money to buy any new clothes right now. Should I just be honest and tell them or tuff it out and try to make do the best I can? Also, no one can lend me money and I can't use my credit card.
