Artist. Yes, I'm very happy. I do what I was born to do. I make my own hours and days.
It has it's challenges (starving artists...), long periods of time when no one seems interested in my art, best chance of making a fortune on my art are long after I'm dead, but I don't worry about those things. I'm retired from my "real job," in government and am finally FREE to be creative.

The government jobs can be tough. I liked mine, but they were very hard on me. On the other hand, they paid the bills, let me go to college for my treasured art classes, and provided my retirement. It was tough getting up for early days, hard staying up for late shifts, but I bought my place in poverty and I'm gonna lap up every minute of it! :)
