What is the approximate duration of the course and approximate cost? What is the demand of financial consultants outside India or is it possible to find a job out of India after doing this course?

I don't really understand how education is related to getting a good job at the end. When I was young, I thought you study well to get a good job, but the country that I'm living in, is stupid because, people do not need to educate themselves to get a job. Most teenagers get jobs and by the time, they're adults, they are just doing well in the workforce.

Now, just in regards to me only, I was thinking to do a course in order to enhance my skills, but have graduated in "Computer Science". There are these private courses where you pay a high price to get educated in the "practical" sense, but sometimes I believe, they're just another kind of "bad business" and see me as "$" sign?

My question really is, should I really go for these courses? Mind you, I am a colored person who graduated in "Bachelor of Science in Computer Science", but have not got a good job in my field. Is there racism involved in this matter? Please give opinions and let me know if I should do these courses?

I have a problem with one of the girls i work with she tends to make comments to another staff member about me ie. my boss was upset yesterday cause I took my rostered day off etc these things are just not true I am the PA to the boss and if he was upset about it he would have asked me to come in. What concerns me is that she will say these things to others I think to cause a rift in the office she used to be an influential member of staff before she went on Mat Leave and has since come back to what you could say is a lesser position part time.

I have worked for both and the non union company treated alot better then the union company does. I believe the union makes it so the management resents us and they seem to want to push as far as they can where the non union company the management knew if you treat your people right they will work harder for you. I have exp in recruitment and would like to participate in functions like employee orientation, development and training; employee relations, writing / designing questionnairs/surveys & other fun stuff! I tried mentioning my excitment in cover letters and during interviews as well....without any success:-( How do i convince interviewers / employers? Any tips?

I am 26 years old. I have made a few mistakes in my life. But when I was pregnant with my son, I was in and out of the hospital a lot. I racked up some severely expensive hospital bills, among other things, and I got over my head in bills. This all happened before I was 21. My husband and I decided that bankruptcy was our only option. I am a lot more mature now and I would like to get back to working at a bank. Banking is what I know best because I worked previously for a bank. I loved it. I just want to know why I can't get a second chance. I'm not a theif and I don't have a criminal record. I am a church going person and would do anything for anyone. I just needed help and bankruptcy did that for me. I just wanted someone else's perspective on this.

I am asking this question because I am working to jobs to support myself and to keep a roof over my head and its depressing. I rarely have much time for myself to hang out with friends and family. And because the cost of living is expensive here in Michigan, I have to work two jobs to support myself.

Just got the shock of my life on my answering machine. My drug test was "rejected". Does this mean Failed? Im stoned? Im just a family man in my mid 40s and have never used drugs in my life. I dont even drink booze. I havent taken any prescription drugs or even over the counter in 6 months. I cannot believe it. I fly back to my hometown to get a job to start immediatly and I get this. Im taking another one but Ill at the least be unemployed waiting for another 3 weeks. How accurate are these things? Im guilty of too much caffiene in my jumbo travel cup and shouldnt smoke Marlboro's. I support Lowe's efforts for a drug-free workplace, but geez!! Get a new laboratory contract. Im as squeaky clean as they come.

I'm 21 and would like to be a pharmacy Tech.
