Always dress smart, not ott though. Like a blouse/shirt or smart top with respectable/formal trousers/skirt. A smart jacket will do you don't need to go out and buy a suit. And always wear a smile to the interview.

First appearances count big time. They're not just seeing your outfit but your face and body language as well. Be and look enthusiastic about the job, don't go ott like I'm really up for it and want to make a career of it! Just showing that its somthing you want to to gain experience from as well as earning a bit on the side. And look at the positives aspects of the job and like when answering q's about yourself.

But at this stage when you first walk through the door you should create a good impression. Think about it, the job their offering anyone can learn to do, so whats left- customer service. If you look presentable and leave a good impression with the employer they are most likley going to think ok shes going to be good with the customers and so thats like 45-50% passed.

Finaly I wish you all the luck and if in the event you don't get the job please do ask them why. I was looking a part time job for ages and I saw interviews as a class where I learnt the do's and don'ts of intervies and made notes on feedback and techniques. This got me a very decent part time job in a call centre where I can now move up and around if I wanted thanks to my previous interviewer telling me what criteria I didn't fulfil. Remember its not what youv'e done wrong it's what you havn't done and find this out and in the next interview you'll be laughing.

Good luck and best wishes.

Congratulations on getting an interview..!! I'm guessing this is your 1st..

No: Jeans, caps, trainers, hoodies, casual cardigan

Wear: Stud earrings (not a lot of jewellry - think chav), hair neatly tied back, clean shoes preferably black, black/navy trousers (all depends on what you have), black/white shirt (no creases!!), minimal makeup - mascara, little blush, and lip gloss is fine, clean neat nails - no bright colours. You won't need a suit jacket or anything.. just a clean coat will do.

Be confident - at least try to apepear so..!
Good luck, hope it goes well

Good suggestion above. Wear khakis, a white shirt and a navy blazer or jacket.

Shoes should be a neutral brown, lace up.

Wearing a suggestion of company colors is a great idea.

Smart casual - like a lot of people have said.
Make sure you clean your shoes. A lot of employers say they look at an applicant's shoes, it's a kind of giveaway that they're not really as smart as they claim, if they can't be bothered to do that.

Something nice, make sure and DON'T wear jeans and show NO skin. Cover your tummy and arm pits...if you wear a skirt make sure is at least knee length. Present a positive image!

you don't need to wear your dressiest clothes but you should look nice. go with what they call business casual, its like a step below suit and tie and a step above t-shirt and jeans.
