Should I bring an unofficial copy with me if they call me up and say they want a second interview, or should I bring an official copy instead? I'm not done with schoolyet but will be at the end of this semester. It would be great to get a job at this place.

Typically, people do not bring their transcripts to an interview. If this interviewer wants it, an unofficial copy should be fine for her/his review, as the requirement for the real thing should happen in the offer process.

Bring an official one with you. Or, even better, if you can obtain an official copy now, take it in on your own. Don't wait to be called for the 2nd interview. This will show initiative.

Best of luck to you!

If they don't specify, unofficial is fine. The company isn't going to care that much. They will assume you won't make a fake transcript, so as long as it has your grades....they will look at it for less than 1 minute and put it to the side. Don't spend your time and money on getting an official transcript, because if they don't specify, they don't care.

If they are interested enough for a second interview, take an official copy.

Get a certified copy. They probably don't care if they are certified or not, but it does show an attention to detail, which is a good thing.

I would say bring both to be safe, but try to walk away with the original in your hands.
