I don't really have anything I'm good at or into besides animals, fashions, outdoors, and stuff like that but i can't be a vet or doctor because i don't like the insides of animals and people. I'm really not into designing or anything but, i hope to live in New York with a steady career one day and live quite comfortably. Although i'm not the brightest crayon in the box but, i can't seem to find many options that i like. Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

Look into investment banking or applied economics. You don't have to have a lot of technical knowledge like an engineer, but its a good path to getting a well paying job. It wouldn't be too hard to find a job like that in New York either.

Graphic design classes could do you some good. You should learn Illustrator, Quarkxpress, InDesign, Photoshop, and a little bit of HTML,XML,CSS etc. and you will have yourself a $15 to $20 and hour job. You can get a regular 2 year degree in that and then take other classes to learn the computer programs i've listed that the college may not offer, or get a book and learn them on your own. Employers don't care where you learn things from, just as long as you know them.

Occupational Therapist- My mom is one, and makes good $ working for the county schools in NC. They are in HIGH HIGH demand in nc. She did have to take biology and anatomy courses and other stuff to understand how motor skills and all that works. She makes like 50-60k a yr and gets nice raises when ever the state approves state pay raises, 1-2 times a yr.

Right now, Im a ford service advisor. I start it on monday and am on line to make 30-40 grand my first yr. I only have one yr college and plan to finish while doing this... It is a fun job to me.

Take a whole bunch of different courses at university and see if any of them interest you enough to pursue a career with them.

Also, what I did was I worked all sorts of jobs and found out I really enjoy being in an office and working with computers. I now work for a non-profit organization in administration.

If you intend to live in NY, I suggest you take up private banking or things related to financial products/investments.
