I live in PA but work in NJ. Do I need to worry about wage garnishment due to the fact that I work in NJ?

Thanks.

You really need to ask this of your attorney. However, unless there is a reciprocal agreement between the two states, I'd presume that your wages cannot be garnished by a court order from another state. However if you receive your wages from a company that is based in your home state, but has you working elsewhere, then you could probably have your wages garnished. This is why you should speak with your attorney, as you could present more facts, then you've indicated here.

The state you artwork in. in the event that they're attacking your wages..they might desire to order your business enterprise to do something. except your business enterprise is likewise placed in PA they might bypass to NJ.
