You told us nothing about what your experience is in or what kind of job you are looking for or where. Miami, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando? If you just sent in a resume with no work objective to employers, they will throw it away. You need to have a resume with a specific job like: To obtain a position as a sales representative where I can use my experience in customer service and my strong interpersonal skills. Tailor several versions of your resume for several different jobs. Go to yahoo yellow pages and find employers in your field. Call up and ask if you can fax over your resume and to who's attention. Fax it over and follow up with a phone call in several days.

Depending on what you're looking for you want to put together a good resume and then start sending it out. Another way to network is to join a social networking site like LinkedIn and look through the job postings there, connect with past co-workers and participate in the LinkedIn Answers to kind of set yourself apart and establish your expertise in your field. You could also look for job fairs in your area and do some online searches. The job market may be slow but if you have experience that will be a great advantage to you. There are still plenty of employers hiring. Good luck with your job search.

When you fill out the paperwork for getting a job.List all your places and experiences that will help your chances to get the job.Even if the job is small it shows you are ambitious .Most of all don't give up.

The job market sucks. Over 43% of all Americans are unemployed at the moment. Put your resume out there. Good luck with it.
