I was a manager and even when I put in numbers supporting my claims writing, "Effective leader who adds value by..." it all seem so cliche. I have been told by some to really let my personality out in the coverletter, but I am a very easy, laidback person and other people tell me that it doesn't come across as professional. What do I do to stand out?

I am an on-site technician and rarely see my "boss." In fact, he's never actually visited my job site. My customers though seem to like me a lot, constantly telling me how fast I am and how much of a valuable asset I am to their company. Should I ask them "Um, hey, can you tell my boss that? Here's his phone number..." or just hope that he finds out somehow?

This company bills the client company for my work like more than $100/hr. And they don't even pay me half of the billing rate. How do I negotiate to get a better rate?

I am 17 years old and I am a highschool junior. I would like to have a summer job at a small business office of some sort. How do I find them around my area and what should I ask them? What types of businesses should I go for? Will I be able to find an entry-level job of some sort that would not only give a little bit of saving money but great experience?

I set my watches and clocks 15-30 min ahead, but still... I try to do a lot of things in the morning with an inclination to multitask. I wake up two hours earlier than scheduled time, do a bunch of things and even fold laundry, then shower. I don't know what to do because I need to do what I do in the morning.

I hate myself when I am late.

I'm in my early 40's and changing careers. I am going back to school, (going to a 2 yr college, with hopes of transferring to a 4 yr school) and i want to make sure i can have a good career in computers without having a strong math background. I'm good with the internet and MS WORD (i'm NOT trying to do secretarial work, though), but i want to learn more. If i'm going back to school at this age, i don't want to struggle once i get out and begin working again. I'm not trying to get rich, but i am trying to at least live comfortably without struggling. Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it more realistic to attain financial freedom being a business owner as opposed to regular employment?, even if you have a well paying job.
