I have been offered a position at another company that pays more money than my current position. However, in my current position, I have more power than I ever had, they like me and I enjoy the work I am doing. The new job would involve doing work I don't enjoy and I would probably be micro managed. More money is definitely tempting - I don't know what to do?

I went to a job interview at a fast food restaurant yesterday, and afterwards, the lady said she would call whoever she was hiring on wednesday. Well the application didn't ask for my phone number, so she doesn't have it. Was she just planning on not hiring me from the beginning or what? and should I go back in today and give her my number? Thanks!

Every time I go to work somewhere It always comes down to the same old thing, my co-workers always talks about me behind my back to other people who work there and are there friends. I have a physical and mental disability that I was born with and throughout my entire life I've had people make fun of me everywhere I go and now every time I go to make friends with my co-workers I find out in the end that they are not my "true" friends and are fake and end up making fun of me. They are two-faced witches and always puts me down just because I have a disability. so my question is just excatly how do I deal with these kinds of people? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

When you're working towards a higher degree, study time is of the utmost importance. Working full-time hours can be challenging in my opinion.

Would you prefer to keep a job making $25,000 per year, part time that you've had a few years, even if it means managing expenses closely the next four years, or would you accept full time hours at $50,000 per year, plus bonuses, with more responsibility to have more money now?

I've noticed that most people who accept more money for longer hours while in school, rarely complete their degree, but I'm sure there are some people who do.

I have noticed that I seem to enjoy working for women better than men, and I also notice that I make fewer mistakes, work harder and try more to impress women bosses than when I have a male boss. The past two jobs I've had, I've worked for attractive women and did better than my last permanent job, where I had an old curmudgeon (he went through 18 secretaries in less than 3 years!) as a boss. I think women listen more, offer better advice and are often more sympathetic to their workers than men, who act like tyrants. Have you had a positive experience working for a woman, as opposed to a man? I had one male boss who was a great guy, but most of the others were awful. I also had one female boss who was more tyrannical than ten guys! She fired her own son because she hated his girlfriend and he refused to break up with her!

we are 3 girls working the graveyard shift our co workers from the other shifts are very lazy and selfish. they will not do their job and leave everything to us. we have double the work if the store does not look good in the morning we get complaints there is only so much a person can do. we do not get breaks .on the weekends we have to do 2 jobs we have to do the the maintenance and cashier job. not a penny more just more stress and headaches between taking care of customers we have to make coffee, clean grills, frontface the shelves, sweep and mop the floor, clean showers, put out the bakery items, stock cigarrettes, stock shelves, wash and dry towels, clean mens and ladies bathroom, check in vendors, stock candy, clean doors and windows, empty trash etc there are only 2 girls on duty per night 2 nights a week we dont have a maintenance man neither cashiers or even management will stay over to help out .(except one female manager) we are really frustrated . its just not fair

I'd rather not do sales or telemarketing, but I still want to make extra money from home, such as: Clerical work, typing, editing, webmaster, typing articles/books, or proof reading. Maybe a business person out there needs things typed out, ect. and just doesn't have time. Any suggestions would be helpful.
